Aufgrund meiner Rezension zu Sofia Welt, habe ich in dieser Welt ein Rezensionsexemplar erhalten, auf das ich schon besonders gespannt bin.

Das neue Album meiner Lieblingsband hat mich zu einigen neuen Büchern inspiriert. Seven Pillars of Wisdom und Red Baron sind zwei meiner Lieblingslieder von diesem Album. Da durften die enstsprechenden Bücher natürlich nicht fehlen. Und der Klassiker der Literatur über den 1. Weltkrieg "Im Westen nichts neues" musste dann natürlich auch mit bestellt werden.

Im Juli habe ich erneut 5 Bücher gelesen, diesen Monat hatten sie insgesamt 1971 Seiten. Dabei waren eigentlich nur Highlights.  Die Seelenspringerin Reihe von Sandra Florean mag ich so gerne, da wäre ja auch merkwürdig gewesen, wenn mir Moon Child nicht gefallen hätte. Beren und Luthien, Tolkien halt, dazu muss ich doch nichts mehr sagen oder? Ein gut recherchierter historischer Roman, der dänische und schleswig-holsteinische Geschichte verbindet und dann auch so sypmatische Protagonisten hat? Die Welt so stille musste ich einfach mögen. Steam Punk ist ein Genre das phantastische Möglichkeiten bietet, aber die Idee einer Krankheit die das Geschlecht verändert ist ohne Zweifel besonders ausgefallen. Morbus Konstantin ist anders und genau deshalb so gut. Uglies ist einfach eine Zeitreise in meiner Jugend, die erste Reihe die ich je gelesen habe, die in Richtung Sci-Fi und Dystopie geht. Ich freue mich, dass die Reise noch drei weitere Bänder dauern wird.
